by Marilyn Capawan, Superintendent February brings the end of a great deal of testing for our students as they had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills through Regents, midterms and New York State English Language Arts examinations for Grades 3 through 8.While the official results of some of these assessments will not be available until spring, teachers are able to examine much of this student work and make instructional decisions that will lead to both increased student achievement and program improvement in the future.
