Three years ago over 100 community residents helped define a Long Range Plan for Romulus Central School which would insure its future as a small scale institution of learning meeting its community’s needs.
Basically we should undertake this project for three reasons: the work is needed; the work is part of the plan developed by the community through the Long Range Planning process Facilities Committee; and the work is offered to us this year with an additional 10% incentive from the State to do a capital project, allowing us to have almost all of the funds we need locally already on hand.
