INCIDENTAL TEACHINGThe Board of Education authorizes the superintendent of schools to assign a teacher to teach a subject not covered by the teacher’s certificate for up to five (5) classroom hours a week when the superintendent of schools believes it is in the interest of the school district.
The superintendent of schools shall ensure that the district informs the parents of students affected about incidental teaching assignments.
If a parent appeals an incidental teaching assignment, the appeal process shall begin with the filing of a written complaint with the principal.
