REGULATION - ALCOHOL AND DRUG-TESTING FOR BUS DRIVERS Any employee in a safety-sensitive position who has and uses a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and/or drives a school bus designed to transport 15 or more passengers shall be subject to alcohol and controlled substance testing.
Alcohol tests can only be done just before, during or just after the employee drives a school bus or performs other safety-sensitive duties.
