STUDENT GIFTS AND SOLICITATIONSOnly those organizations granted approval by the Board of Education, on advice of the superintendent of schools, shall have permission to solicit donations and contributions from students.
Display or distribution in schools or through students of notices or announcements of programs or events sponsored by a non-school organization require the prior permission of the superintendent of schools.
School personnel may not, however, act as a conduit and collect funds from students on behalf of a charity for which they are recruited.
