Abstract:	4524 LIBRARY-MEDIA CENTERS The purpose of the school library-media center is to meet the information needs of students, teachers, and administrators. The Board of Education will establish and support library-media centers to provide students, staff and administrators with: 1. library and information skills instruction 2. curriculum-related services The responsibility for acquisition of materials and equipment is legally vested in the Board of Education. The library-media specialist works closely with students, staff and administrators in the selection and evaluation of materials for purchase.
