ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL PROGRAMS For those students who cannot fully benefit from the regular school program, the district offers an alternative school program staffed by skilled personnel either locally or through BOCES.
Students may also be recommended for the program based on their conduct; however, no student will be assigned to the alternative school program as punishment for a disciplinary infraction.
No student identified as having a disability or suspected of having one will be placed pursuant to this policy in the alternative school program.
