Abstract:	2100 SCHOOL BOARD LEGAL STATUS The Board of Education is a nine-member board elected by district residents. The terms of office of Board members shall not all expire in the same year. The Wayne Central School District was established on April 29, 1949 under a centralized plan authorized by state law and approved by district voters. Any liability of the district is a liability of the Board of Education as a corporation and not that of the members of the Board as individuals.
