What is the ASVAB?
The ASVAB is a multi-aptitude test battery. This test is open to Juniors and Seniors looking into the military services or for anyone who would like to explore career possibilities. It measures how well you have developed your academic and occupational abilities at school, at home and in the community. It tries to show you what you're good at! It consists of 10 individual tests covering Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, General Science, Auto and Shop Information, Mechanical Comprehension, Electronics Information, Numerical Operations, and Coding. The test has no cost and is usually given in November at Dundee Central School. See you Guidance Counselor for test date and sign up.
