Given in loving memory of Gary Ayers by his family, friends, former students and Keshequa community. This scholarship is given to the graduate who best exemplifies the commitment to the qualities defined by Gary Ayers' life: family, school community serviece, and extra curricular activities. The recipient must plan to pursue a career working to better the lives of others i.e. counseling, education, social work or the medical field.
Student must complete an essay to become a finalist. The essay must be 250-300 words explaining how he or she has lived up to the ideas affirmed by Mr. Ayers' life. Include in your essay a discussion of how the field you are entering meets the stated criteria.
