Topic: SED – Regional Update (8:30-9:30)
Purpose: Initiatives related to the NYS Learning Standards are the focus of the work of the Council. Specific items for discussion will be: TONYSS cost comparison, SASS and Annual Yearly Performance Indicators
Action: Input regarding direction for BOCES

Topic: Regional Data Analysis of 2000 Assessments (9:30-10:30)
Purpose: Analysis of data has been identified as a high priority by both the RIC and CSO groups. Disaggregated reports of key ideas/skill clusters were handed out in November. The purpose will be to look at the regional and district data to identify areas of relative success and areas in need of improvement.
Action: Share information and impact on the work of the districts. Make recommendations to CSO for opportunities for collaboration, professional development.

Topic: Program Networks (10:30-11)
Purpose: The Program Networks concept was conceived and is supported by the RIC. It is necessary to discuss the impact and future of this group.
Action: Choose a subcommittee to monitor and respond to requests.

Topic: Round Table/CSO Update (11-11:30)
Purpose: Members have expressed a desire to share information, ask questions, and provide support to each other. This will also provide an opportunity for our CSO representative to report any information.
