4-5:30 P.M. Reviewed minutes from 1/21/98 Goal: Groups will identify k-12 components and get a grip on what is currently going on in all involved districts. Librarian - Mary - There are no set Standards for Library independently, the Standards are set within the other disciplines. - They are information skills that will be used and needed - The librarians have divided themselves up to attend the meetings of other disciplines - Mary has taught art and offers her experience and resources as that, a resource to help us - Asks what we need Gettysite on the Web/using Art Ed Net http://www.artsednet.getty.edu Sharing: - NYS Syllabus 7&8 - Cross reference videos - English books are good for cross-reference of topics and themes - Lesson plan formats - Internet Sites - The Arts Format - State Ed. - Assessments: rubrics for 8th grade, Studio Art and Advertising - Benchmarks - Unit and Lesson Plans aligned with the Standards - Portfolio development and critiques - Color Theory Docushare with Lori was postponed because the server was down.
