7th Grade Scheduling
Students in 7th grade will have at least seven classes plus Physical Education in their schedule each semester.
In Seventh Grade the following subjects will be taken:
English 7 Full Year
Social Studies 7 Full Year
Math 7 Full Year
Science 7 Full Year
Foreign Language 7 Full Year (French or Spanish)
Physical Education 7 Full Year (Two days a week)
Family & Consumer Science 7 Half Year (20 weeks)
Technology 7 Half Year (20 weeks)
Art 7 10 Weeks
Music 7 10 Weeks
Reading/Study Skills 10 Weeks
Keyboarding 7 10 Weeks
Students will have to choose between French or Spanish for 7th Grade. This will be the Foreign Language that they will take in Junior High. See the request form below to make your choice. Please note the due date!!!
In addition to the above classes, students have the option to take other classes as "electives" or classes that students may take if they choose. These classes are Chorus and/or Band.
* Some 7th Grade students will also have E.L.A. Lab, Math Lab or Resource Room in their schedule, if needed.
Students interested in accelerating in certain subjects should contact the Guidance Office regarding details. This needs to be set up and approved by the Principal.
