    BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

    PRESENT:
    Judi Buckalew, John Boogaard, Robert Cahoon,
    Katharine DeAngelis, Kari Durham, Kelly Ferrente,
    Nickoline Henner, Edward Magin, Clifford Parton

    ABSENT/EXCUSED:
    CALL TO ORDER:
    Board President Judi Buckalew called the meeting to order
    at 5:12 pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
    1a. APPROVAL OF
    Clifford Parton moved and Robert Cahoon seconded the
    AGENDA:
    following motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew,
    J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon, K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K.
    Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton voted yes.
    Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon
    recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and
    pursuant to Education Law, approves the agenda of
    February 4, 2010.
    Jan McDorman left the meeting at this time.
    EXECUTIVE SESSION:
    Edward Magin moved and Robert Cahoon seconded the
    following motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew,
    J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon, K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K.
    Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton voted yes.
    Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon
    recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and
    pursuant to Education Law, approved Executive Session at
    5:15 p.m. for the purpose of interviewing candidates for the
    position of Superintendent.
    OPEN SESSION:
    The meeting returned to open session at 9:24 pm.
    ADJOURNMENT:
    Clifford Parton moved and Robert Cahoon seconded the
    following motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew,
    J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon, K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K.
    Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton voted yes.
    Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon
    recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and

    pursuant to Education Law, approves the adjournment of
    the meeting at 9:25 pm.
