    BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
    January 28, 2010
    MIDDLE SCHOOL MEDIA CENTER
    6:00 P.M.
    PRESENT:
    Judi Buckalew, John Boogaard, Robert Cahoon,
    Katharine DeAngelis, Kari Durham, Kelly Ferrente,
    Nickoline Henner, Edward Magin, Clifford Parton
    Dr. Stephen Uebbing, Tim McElheran, Jan McDorman
    ABSENT/EXCUSED:
    Samantha Zerniak
    CALL TO ORDER:
    Board President Judi Buckalew called the meeting to order
    at 6:05 pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
    1a. APPROVAL OF
    Clifford Parton moved and Kelly Ferrente seconded the
    AGENDA:
    following motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew,
    J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon, K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K.
    Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton voted yes.
    Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon
    recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and
    pursuant to Education Law, approves the agenda of
    January 28, 2010.
    Jan McDorman left the meeting at this time.
    EXECUTIVE SESSION:
    Clifford Parton moved and Kelly Ferrente seconded the
    following motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew,
    J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon, K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K.
    Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton voted yes.
    Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon
    recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and
    pursuant to Education Law, approved Executive Session at
    6:10 p.m. for the purpose of discussing the Superintendent
    Search.
    OPEN SESSION:
    The meeting returned to open session at 8:25 pm.
    ADJOURNMENT:
    Clifford Parton moved and Edward Magin seconded the
    following motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew,
    J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon, K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K.
    Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton voted yes.
    Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon
    recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and

    pursuant to Education Law, approves the adjournment of
    the meeting at 8:30 pm.
