BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

ABSENT/EXCUSED:

CALL TO ORDER:

Board President Judi Buckalew called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm

and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

1a. APPROVAL OF

Katharine DeAngelis moved and Edward Magin seconded the following

AGENDA:

motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew, J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon,

K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K. Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton,

voted yes.

Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the

Superintendent of Schools and pursuant to Education Law, approves the

agenda of December 8, 2009.

2. EXECUTIVE SESSION:

Clifford Parton moved and Katharine DeAngelis seconded the following

motion. The vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew, J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon,

K. DeAngelis, K. Durham, K. Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton,

voted yes.

Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the

Superintendent of Schools and pursuant to Education Law, approved

Executive Session at 6:08 p.m. for a personnel issue relating to the

Superintendent Search.

Jan McDorman left the room at this time.

OPEN SESSION:

The meeting returned to open session at 9:10 pm.

ADJOURNMENT:

John Boogaard moved and Kari Durham made the following motion. The

vote was unanimous. J. Buckalew, J. Boogaard, R. Cahoon, K. DeAngelis,

K. Durham, K. Ferrente, N. Henner, E. Magin, C. Parton, voted yes.

Be it resolved that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the

Superintendent of Schools and pursuant to Education Law, approves the

adjournment of the meeting at 9:20

pm.
