| 3. | Board Calendar Draft: I have attached a draft of the Board calendar for next year. They are the brown squares on the calendar. I have also made a print out of just the board meeting dates as proposed for your review. Please look it over and be prepared for discussion at the June 19 meeting. We should be ready to adopt the calendar at the July 10 Organizational meeting. | |

| 5. | Fire Alarms: We have had 2 unplanned fire alarms at the high school in the past week – week and a half. The cause is not specifically identified, other than sensors were triggered. Generally at this time of year, it means that dust or pollen is getting blown around with windows being opened up and it settles on one of the sensors and trips it. We seem to experience one or two of these in the spring of the year. | |
| 6. | Board Workshop: | |
| 7. | Blanket Collection: One of our high school teachers, Riley Wheaton, has a sister who is serving in the Armed Forces in Afghanistan and working with children and families that are injured or medically in need due to the circumstances of war and hardship in their country. She has requested blankets for the children specifically. Riley has sent out a request to the staff asking for donations of blankets If anyone is willing to help out. Several local organizations, student groups, staff members and people in general have contributed and the blankets are coming in good numbers. It is a nice way for our community to contribute. Mr. Wheaton was able to forward some pictures of his sister and some of the children she works with. There are some real needs in the world. | |
