An overview of our dulcimer groups in the Nunda Area….
The Mountain Dulcimer Learning Group is sponsored by the Nunda Historical Society and meets at the Nunda Museum the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month from 3:30 to 5:00. The group is for adults, but students are welcome. The group is led by Sue Hengelsberg of Perry, who is a folk musician and teacher. Everyone is welcome to the meetings! The groups has a few extra dulcimers, so feel free to come and try one out!
The Keshequa Mountain Dulcimer Learning Group is for students grades 6 through 12 who attend Keshequa Central School. The group meets after school once a month, though students are encouraged to meet more often for practice. The group has dulcimers paid for through a grant which students can borrow for a week.
