The School­to­Work Opportunities program, sponsored by the
    U. S. Departments of Labor and Education, in cooperation with our local Genesee,
    Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming (GLOW) Partnership, provides all learners with
    real­work experiences to help prepare them for the future. Through the integration of
    school work and experience in the workplace, students can gain a strong work ethic,
    self­confidence, a sense of responsibility and a better understanding of the job
    market.
    School­to­Work has many variations. For many students, it is School­to­School­to­
    Work as they move from high school to college before entering the job force. For
    other students, it means School­to­Work­to­School, as they enter the job market and
    realize they need further education. Regardless of the variation, School­to­Work is for
    all learners.
    GLOW students routinely participate in School­to­Work activities. These include
    School Based Experiences, Work Based Experiences, and Connecting Activities.
