·   A year ago put together committee goals, these included –
o   Committee Goal - To continue the committee’s focus on instructional application technology
o   Committee Goal - To continue to model the use of technology and to provide for professional development of committee members.

Marla Iverson and Kelli Eckdahl are presenting today on Educational Technology and Professional
Development.

Marla and Kelli distributed to the committee pocket PC’s. These are a great tool for observing teaching and learning with the purpose of collection data. Pocket PC is loaded with software that has designated “look fors”. An individual or team can do a 3-5 minute observation and collect data. Follow up based on data analysis.

Tips for Success:
> Build time in your schedule to conduct walk throughs
> Keep your handheld with you to collect data
> Share the results of your data collection
> Visit every classroom
> Vary the times of classroom visits
> Train teachers to help you collect walk through data

In February, 2005 conducted a pilot on walk through observations using Dell’s Pocket PC with Snap Data software.

Seventeen area administrators participated in the training which included:
 > Theory
 > Skill
 > Pocket PC
 > Snap Data software

Will come out to your district and talk about walk through trainings.

·   Test Scoring
Offer 9 regents items analysis to 39 districts.
Item analysis reports on all regents; multiple choice and extended response.
If you have not already signed up for your printed regents answer sheets, you need to do so now.
If you know you have a planning session, let us know specific dates and we will try to get the results to you.

Camille thanked the committee for their time throughout the year.

Mike Glover thanked Camille and EduTech for helping a district with a major issue on a Sunday.
