The Improvement Plan for 2004-2005
is intended to:
• Establish incremental growth goals for
academic achievement in all Regents exam
results.
• Increase the quality of our collection and
analysis of student achievement data in
order to better inform instruction.

• Increase support to the strategic objective
that states that 100% of our students will
be academically competent as
demonstrated by successful completion of
their cooperatively developed personal
academic plans.
• Sustain previous years’ communication
initiatives and make them routine
practices.
• Be a work in progress. Revisions should
be expected throughout the year as issues
and opportunities emerge.

• Analyzing the current practice of the
development of academic plans for
students who enter the high school for the

move our school closer to the spirit of the
strategic objective.

The HS Improvement Team is dedicated to
improving the quality of our children’s
education in these three important areas.
