    Jun 1: Students take part in elementary classroom activities as assigned and continue evaluating children’s lit.
    Jun 3: Students meet in room 106 to summarize their findings about children’s lit.
    Jun 7: Final chance to take note of children’s learning.
    Jun 8: Students meet in 106 to review for final exam.
    Jun 14: Final exam at 12:33.

    Jun 1: Students define rhyme, meter, foot, iamb, trochee, anapest, dactyl, spondee, alliteration, consonance, assonance, personification, simile, metaphor; 901-924; 925-967.
    Students apply these technical terms and earlier literary approaches as appropriate to:
    Closed Form: Browning, “My Last Duchess,” 751; Hamlet, II, ii, 476-533 (1612-1614),
    Jun 4: Review for final exam.
    Jun 9: Begin final exam. Students will make irrevocable choice of topics and begin work.

    Day 2: return texts. Start quick intro to The Odyssey in our text and in movie version. Teacher reads aloud from Elements of Literature, 722-724. Continue on Odyssey until--
    Jun 9 and Jun 10: review for exam.
