Dear Parents:
 
We have concluded our challenging year. The most challenging was that your son/daughter has taken 5 NYS assessment tests.
 
You child was given a copy of the strategies packet we studied this past year, either at his/her annual review meeting or at the end of the year. It's a good resource to hang on to and review periodically during high school.
 
I encourage your child to maintain his/her skills by reading and writing whatever interests them this summer. This way September won't come as such a big shock.
