Connecting to our Network Servers from Home with your Laptop
Non-School Dial-In Version 1.2
Use these directions if you wish to connect to our servers from home without a broadband
connection.
Use these directions if you already have or plan to have your own dial-up ISP (
I
nternet
S
ervice
P
rovider), such as, AOL, Compuserve, Zlink, Net Zero, Juno, ATT Worldnet, etc.
Connecting to the Internet
•
Contract with a local ISP
•
Install their software—if required
•
Dial into their number
•
After login, double click the Terminal Services Icon—N.B. Where is says
server
, type
in:
209.68.64.68
(Please note the three periods are necessary and there are no spaces.)
•
Click connect
•
Choose the appropriate building (HS, LMS, FHE, NRE, DO) you will need to login again
here. And one more time into the terminal server.
Remember, with this connection you are working another computer remotely. Remember to log
off when you are done.
