Fire Drills-The Great Escape
Fire Prevention Week was celebrated October 5-9,1998 with the assistance of the Romulus Fire Department. The focus of the week was on the development of home evacuation plans. Students were asked to develop plans with families and share them in school. Throughout the week, Chief Jim Hinman and his crew conducted grade level assemblies for students in grades 1-6. PreK, Kindergarten, and First Graders visited the fire department. Students in grades PreK-6 designed posters illustrating fire prevention techniques.
