Greetings from Wayne Central School District. Below are some items of interest.
 
 



Newsletter:
 

1. Electronic Eye Systems: We had a question about the electronic eye contractor for our gym doors and curtains. Enclosed is the quote from BR Johnson Inc. out of Winton Road Rochester. As you can see the total cost is about $28,000.

 

2. Project Update: Enclosed are the minutes from our Ontario Elementary, and Armstrong Middle school meetings

 

3. Recent Accidents: Two of our high school students were injured this week in separate accidents. Both are expected to recover. One accident resulted in the loss of power on route 350 and the cancellation of our wrestling match on Wednesday.

 

4. Animal Scramble: The AP art class is participating in the Animal Scramble. Chase Pitkin has sponsored us to get a gorilla. The Animal Scramble is similar to the horses on Parade but involves many different animals. They will be dressing the gorilla up as an artist.

 

5. BOCES Vote:   Information on the BOCES Vote has been sent out to all residents. The voting machine preparation is set. We do not anticipate a large turnout. Just a reminder that the voting will occur from Noon-9:00 p.m. on December 17.
