RE: Crisis Drill

Dear Dr. Geer:

This correspondence will confirm my participation at a school bus accident catastrophe drill held on October 19, 2002.

The drill simulated a school bus accident involving serious injuries with various agencies responding that included the New York State Police Department and volunteer fire departments from the surrounding area.

The drill was concluded with a debriefing that involved input from yourself and other school personnel, students who participated in the drill, parents, New York State Police and local fire departments.

I would like to commend you and the school district for this proactive effort and your commitment toward emergency management planning and crisis preparedness.

Again, the invitation to be a part of this very worthy exercise was greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
