Classroom Connect is celebrating Christopher Columbus’510

th

anniversary

of his sea voyage through the Bahamas to Cuba. The Quest team will ask

your students help in solving one of the great mysteries in the history of

exploration: Where did Columbus first set foot in the New World? What is

the legacy of his voyage? Together we will find the answers and reveal the

man behind the myth.

Participants will receive:

1. Technical and Curricular support throughout the project

2. Integration Activities and Supplemental Materials, which may include

lesson plans, WebQuests, overhead transparencies, and curricular

units

3. Communication throughout the project via Chat and AccelerateU

4.

A classroom web page through EduTech ColumbusQuest 2002

website

5. A ColumbusQuest curriculum guide, poster and subscription

 

Participants must have daily access to the Internet and an e­mail account

.

Recommended for grades 2­12.
