REGULATION - RECRUITING AND HIRING
 
The order of personnel action recommending personnel for appointment by the Board of Education shall be submitted by the Superintendent of Schools and appear on the Board’s agenda as follows:
 


Probationary Positions



Probationary Positions
 
1.  names of staff members who may be transferring tenure areas, and therefore receiving new probationary appointments in another tenure area, and/or support staff members receiving new probationary appointments in a different classified job title;
2.  names of persons receiving probationary appointments but who have served in a long-term replacement (substitute) position; and
3.  names of new staff members receiving initial probationary appointments.
 


Replacement, Temporary, Acting and Part-time Positions



Replacement, Temporary, Acting and Part-time Positions
 
1.  names of long-term substitute teachers and support staff serving in replacement (encumbered) positions will appear in accordance with the length of the appointment;
2.  names of persons serving in temporary/provisional and/or acting positions will appear in accordance with the length of his/her appointment; and
3.  names of persons serving in part-time positions shall appear in accordance with the amount of time served in such position.
 


Same Tenure Area or Classified Job Title



Same Tenure Area or Classified Job Title
 
Appointments of persons recommended on the same agenda for the same tenure area or classified job title shall be placed on the agenda in an order established by the Superintendent of Schools.
