CLASS RANKING
 
 The Board of Education recognizes that subject area courses differ substantially in their levels of academic challenge. In an effort to present the most accurate student profile possible and the most complete assessment of the academic achievement of students, class ranking for grades 9-12 will be determined by a weighted grading system.
