HOMEBOUND INSTRUCTION

Homebound instruction is a service provided to students who are unable to attend school due to medical, emotional or disciplinary problems. Students in grades 6-12 receive instruction for a minimum of two hours per day and students in grades K-5 receive instruction for a minimum of one hour per day. Students receive credit for their work while on homebound instruction.

The district makes provisions for homebound instruction through the appropriate administrator following the regulations established by the Superintendent of Schools for placing a student on homebound instruction.
