NEWS MEDIA RELATIONS

The Board of Education invites and welcomes the participation of the media in promoting the educational activities of the district.

All staff desiring to release information to the media should first notify the building principal. The Superintendent of Schools, or his/her designee, shall serve as the liaison between the school district and the media, and s/he shall establish all necessary procedures to govern day-to-day interactions between the schools and the news media.

Annually, the Board of Education will designate the newspapers that will carry official notices.
