Final Reading List
8th Social Studies
Mr. Cook

Directions: As we complete our survey of the 20th century, you will be responsible for a reading on each topic. Many of these readings cover parts of the topic that we have not had time to explore in depth in class. It is important, then, that you complete each reading as assigned.

Please remember the process we always follow!

Make sure you have the correct assignment.
Go over the "As you read" at the beginning of the section(s).
Complete the reading, paying close attention to illustrations, charts, graphs, and other material within the required pages.
Return to the "As you read" and check how well you read!
Reread as necessary.

Remember, these are the required readings. You are encouraged to explore or review the material in the rest of the chapter.
