BOOK REVIEW/ Little Big Man
DIRECTIONS: Each student will complete a book review on Thomas Bergers’ novel
Little Big Man. Each review will include the following:
*An overall summary of the novel. This summary needs to be your own work. Do not rely on any commercial summaries.
*Your own view of the novel. You will include your personal feelings on the novel, and its relevance in American history.
*An examination of the historical time period that the novel takes place in. You will place the novel among the numerous events and activities occurring in America at the time the novel discusses. In examining this you will discuss the role you feel the novel plays in American history.
-If you have any questions please be sure to see Mr. Calogero as soon as possible. The due date for this assignment is DECEMBER 21st.
