Dear Parents:

         Our Middle School Student Council is again sponsoring a fund raising drive to raise money for Middle School Activities.  Over the past three years we have been very successful in our efforts, and have used our funds for a variety of activities such as our year end trip to Six Flags Darien Lake.  We also have contributed toward MS athletic uniforms, supported the school yearbook, hosted dances, pep rallies, spirit weeks, and much more.  Since this is the only fund raising done by the Student Council this year, we hope to continue our work through another successful sale.

         To help raise these funds, we are taking orders from the brochure your student has brought home.  We selected these products because we thought members of our community would like to order a few things to keep or give as gifts. Most parents like the IFS Program because:

*  The products are guaranteed.

*  There is no door to door selling.  We encourage students to sell to family, neighbors, and friends.

*  Every student receives a prize for selling 1 or more items.

*  Students can win exciting prizes based on the number of items sold and delivered. Look inside the order cards for more rewards.

*  Students can earn credit towards the Spring Trip.  Last years most students got to go for free!  Others only had to pay a fraction of the cost!

Students will take orders until November 8th. No money is collected now.  Deliveries will  be in early December. All money, payable to Keshequa Middle School Student Council, will be collected then.  Please note that this year we will be charged fees for returned checks.  The cost of the fee may be deducted from a student’s totals, so please remember this when accepting checks.  Checks are made out to Keshequa Middle School Student Council.

         We understand that the cost of this and other fundraisers add up during the course of a year.  Please do not feel obligated to order a large number of items.  We do not keep individual accounts beyond each year’s spring trip, so if a student sells around $50.00, it produces enough profit for them to go free on the trip.  If individual students want to try for higher level prizes offered by the company, they are welcome to do so. Any money earned beyond the cost of the trip will help the Council sponsor events and activities!

         As always, we will be looking for parent volunteers to help us with the fund raising tasks in December.  If you are available, please let us know.  This year we will again have an evening pickup of the orders, and also provide a night that parents can bring the money collected to the school so their student does not have to carry it on the bus.

         Thank you for your help and continued support of our Middle School!

Sincerely Yours,

The Keshequa Middle School Student Council
