    Day 1: Complete search for underlying sense of “Araby,” examining notions of quest, discovery, religion, and loss of faith.
    Review of Irony (175-176). Note use of irony in:
     
    (day1) “The Necklace,” 177-183; 175-176
    (day 2) “Saboteur,” 184-192
     
    Write essay: follow one of the “Further Suggestions for Writing,” 153. You must provide at least six (6) quotations or examples from throughout the story in your essay. If you choose one of the more creative topics, please see me.
    This assignment is due by 7 p.m., Thursday, 03/11.
