- On day 1, students spend first 20 minutes producing the first formal critical lens essay (handout). On day 2, students turn in the essay after polishing their work for 20 minutes. (We will
not
be working on this essay further.)

Daily, using Preparing for the Regents Comprehensive Examination in English, students work in small groups (except for items to be turned in). Exercise B on page 22 is due before last class. On the last day, students will need about 40 minutes for the listening exercise.
|
Students work on the River project in class, with test and discussion of chapters 9–15 at last class.
