Ø      Theatre Assessment Workshop       

·        RJ attended in December in Ithaca

·        Presenter was Gail Nelli – teaches a 3 unit (soon to be 5 unit) T.A. sequence in rural Alexander CSD

·        Update on T.A. certification – available now 9-12

·        K-12 certification available in 2003

·        Theatre Arts Curriculum – course application must be submitted by April 1st to be offered by your district in Sept.

·        Call RJ for info –he has a ton of it!

Ø    Arts Advocacy

·        Very important in light of aid freeze!

Ø      Blockbooking ?

·        North Rose-Wolcott is looking for an author for Mar/April 2002

Ø    AIE Coverage of Class Trips

·        AIE does NOT cover transportation, lodging, meals, etc.

·        AIE DOES cover admissions for AIE related activities

·        Just a reminder because some providers/agents put on their information that all trips are aidable through AIE and that is not the case

Ø    Stratford Festival - ???’s – call RJ

Ø    Common Ground Conference

·        For art educators, AIE people, classroom teachers, teaching artists, organizations, artists, etc.
