As of July 2001, any person in a public school working w/ kids will be required to have fingerprints on file
What does that mean for Consultants or Artists?
Artists not paid by district – so by the letter of the law – fingerprinting is not required
Statewide – BOCES has agreed to fingerprinting
Individual districts may choose to handle differently

Artwork due March 30^th
Participating districts can nominate up to 4 Jr/Sr high school students to sit on the Student Selection Committee- with an accompanying faculty member
Selection Committee will meet 03-16-01 9am-2pm at W-FL BOCES with pizza being provided for lunch
