DOES HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF

You will be conducting an examination of American society from 1890 to the present to determine if the statement that history repeats itself is true. Your examination will include an in-depth analysis of the economic, social, foreign policy, and political movements and events throughout the entire time-span. You will conduct your examination in two parts:

1. A 5-7 page paper. The paper will include a specific analysis of each decade. You will need to show a specific connection, or a specific lack of connection, to support your position. Be certain to take a position of whether you believe history does or does not repeat itself.

2. A multi-media presentation. You will put together a presentation to make to the entire class/school. It is important that this be a
MULTI-MEDIA presentation. You can use any available means including role-playing and/or skits. The presentation will bring your paper to life and be another way for you to prove your position.

All papers and presentation will be due on Monday, June 6^th. We will schedule presentation times prior to that date. These times are flexible so if you have a preference please see Mr. Calogero as soon as possible.
