ADMISSION OF NON-RESIDENT STUDENTS
The Board of Education permits admission of non-resident students only under one or more of the following conditions:
(1)
When there is a contractual agreement between Wayne Central School District and another school district or BOCES
(2)
When the parent or guardian of children who expect to become residents of the school district during a given semester or school year make written application to the Superintendent of Schools and provide a signed and accepted contract or purchase offer to buy, build or lease a residence within the school district
(3)
When the family of (a) student(s) has/have moved out of the school district, the student(s) may be allowed to complete the current semester or school year at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools and upon written request of parent(s) or guardian(s)
(4)
When, in the judgement of the Superintendent of Schools, extenuating circumstances make it desirable for a student to be admitted to the school district.
No tuition shall be charged for Items #1, #2 or #3.
