BUDGET HEARING
BUDGET HEARING
The Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget not more than (30) nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date set by the Board for the public vote. The time and location for the hearing will be designated by the Board.
At the hearing, the Superintendent of Schools and the Board will explain the proposed budget and consider the comments, reactions and suggestions from the public concerning the proposed budget.
Ordinarily, the Board will not adopt the proposed budget on the same date as the budget hearing.
