School building names in the Wayne Central School District are designated as follows:
 
James A. Beneway Senior High School
Thomas C. Armstrong Middle School
Freewill Elementary School
Ontario Elementary School
Ontario Primary School
 
A prominently placed plaque will identify a newly completed building. The plaque will list the year of completion, Board of Education membership and names of the superintendent of schools, school architect and respective administrative personnel.
