Examine the causes of the French Revolution on the rest of Europeans well as around the world. · Discuss the rise of Napoleon. · Describe and discuss the defeat of Napoleon and the reaction of Europe after his defeat. The revolutions of 1848. · Describe the independence movements of Latin America in the 1830’s and 1840’s. Focus on the causes, leaders, and the results of these movements. · Discuss the reasons why Democracy failed in Latin America and the reasons why there was a rise of Dictators. · Describe the causes and results of the Mexican Revolution. |
