Feature of the Week:  Science Exploration, by Ann Dillon

Every morning on my way to work I listen to National Public Radio (NPR). During the broadcast, there is a section dedicated to science. The commentator made an intriguing statement, "Science is life; it's all around you including you…." I wonder if our students realize that as well. On the other hand, do students view science as subject matter that is only relative to their lives in school? I would hope students believe and understand that science is everywhere.
