Feature of the Month: Family Summer Fun,

Think back to the hot and humid summer
afternoons when you were a child. My
two sisters and I were almost as excited as my parents about our return to school
in September. We drained my parents of energy, demanding attention and ideas
to keep us busy all day long for two months!
Except for the long awaited family trip, we hung out at the nearby school
playground, library, or swam in our pool.
After a few weeks, it seemed boring. What
can you do to entertain your kids all summer long?
Here are some sites of interest…
My favorite site is: http://db.ok.bc.ca/summer/
Here you will find ideas for indoor and
outdoor fun, recipes, gardening tips, crafts, and also other creative links!
For those rainy or sweltering days, investigate: http://computingcentral.msn.com/guide/fun/bio.asp
Need some ideas for summer getaways?
Contact your local Chamber of Commerce,
