| Abstract: | - NEW YORK STATE ASSESSMENTS Byron-Bergen Central School District students participate in New York State assessments at grades 4, 5, 8, and throughout high school.
- State assessments provide a single, uniform measure across all New York school districts and classrooms.
- Our schools use performance data to evaluate lessons and align curriculum with the standards, to identify students who are at risk of not achieving the standards, to recognize students who meet or exceed the standards, and to plan meaningful professional development activities which strengthen classroom instructional strategies and our overall program.
